Dual Fuel Heat Pumps

What is a HEAT PUMP ?

A ducted central heat pump is a highly efficient home heating and cooling system that uses ductwork to evenly distribute conditioned air throughout the house. Unlike conventional methods that generate heat, a heat pump operates by transferring heat, making it a more energy-efficient choice for climate control. During colder months, the system extracts heat from the outside air, even in freezing conditions, and transfers it indoors. Conversely, in warmer weather, it removes heat from the indoor air and transfers it outside, cooling the home. This reversible heat transfer process allows the ducted system to provide consistent, comfortable temperatures in all rooms year-round. As an effective and eco-friendly option, a ducted central heat pump is an excellent choice for maintaining optimal home comfort.

To determine if a heat pump is the right choice for your home, consult your contractor at Canada Duct Ltd. or energy advisor who can assess the economics and potential savings based on your location and usage.
